Can you believe that we are in the last month of the year 2019?
It is unbelievable how time flies. The days turn into weeks and the weeks turn into months. Then before you know it, we are approaching the end of another year. Robert Orben, American Entertainer, said, “Time flies. It’s up to you to be the navigator.”
The end of the year is an excellent time to pause and reflect on how well we navigated throughout the year. Reflecting is a way to remind you of the goodness of Yahweh, the Most High. It is a reminder that since He did it before, He will do it again, and again, and again. Think of it as looking through a photo album of old pictures, memories that we had forgotten. Some of the photos make you smile, some make you laugh out loud, and some make you wish that you were back in that moment all over again.
As you reflect, what memories stand out to you? What triumphs did you experience? Any heartbreaks? And most importantly, what lessons did you learn? Be intentional about taking the lessons to heart.
Walk away from this year with a sense of peace that while you may have experienced many mountain top and valley experiences, Yah has never left you. He has never forsaken you. And He never will.
